I need a cool anime personality?

ok so the girl is a phantom..before she died she was a chinese princess who was treated like a tool by her father..i want everyone to feel sorry for this girl so i really do not want an aggressive personality but if she's always sad she'll be very boring...what do you think her personality should be like? (shes a phantom and appears to be 15) im not going to tell her whole story but she loved her father dearly regardless of what he did and i was thinking she should respect men to the fullest for some reason..
