What do i do next since she responded?

i served my ex 3 weeks ago for papers to establish parental relationship... she hasnt let me see my daughter since she turned 2, but i filed the papers before she turned two. then a few weeks after i served her, i got served with papers to deny mine. i assume this is a response so what do i do next? ive never done this before so im not to sure bout it and i cant get in to see the law facilitator til tue... and this is in california if that helps... thanks!
