How to get my budgies to mate?

I just got a new male budgie named Nero. I put him in the same cage as my two others which are male (cloud strife) and female (kai). The males get along great. Its just nero and kai dont get along. Ive been trying to get cloud and kai to mate for a long time but kai never seems interested at all so thats why i got nero. But she doesnt like him ethier. And cloud is too interested in nero (the male) and his reflction in the mirror to mate with kai. So should i get another female and put it in the cage? Will the parakeets choose a mate out of eachother more likely and breed more likely?
