What's a typical day like in Drum Corps?

I'm planning on auditioning for either the Colts or Phantom Regiment. I've been on colorguard for several years working with flag and I love it. I'm seriously thinking about making this part of my life. I'm curious what a typical day of drum corps is like though. I know it involves lots of traveling and run throughs of the show, but what else does it involve? Is there really a lot of running? I'm not too hot about that lol, but I don't mind jogging. I'm not really into distance running. Are there any guard or drum corps people that can help me out?
