Have Airborn Fireworks been legalized is MI?

Okay, I live in Michigan and i was wondering if fireworks that go higher that 50 ft are legal. I looked at a fireworks website (phantom fireworks) and i usually go to the ohio border to buy fireworks, but when i searched locations there was one in Monroe, MI. I called and they said they just opened up 3 weeks ago (5/22/11). Supposedly they sell all their products their that they sell in ohio. Does anyone know if laws have been changed?
